There are some amazing upgrades in our Luno 2 line. They are made with 316 stainless steel so they are much more durable and have a water resistance rating of 100 meters. The dial of the watch is still wood or bamboo so each watch is unique. This hybrid of wood and steel is the perfect combination of a wooden watch and a minimalist, durable stainless steel watch. The watch crystals are made from sapphire and the movements are made from a Swiss company called Ronda. The straps are made from top grain Italian leather and have a quick release pin so you can easily swap out bands. If you can’t tell, we’re super excited about the new watches and we know you’ll love them!

As a crowdfunding-born company, we understand how essential our early supporters are to Luno's success. We wouldn't be here if it weren't for supporters like you. That support doesn't go unnoticed.
In our first campaign, we launched a wood and leather watch and the positive response was overwhelming. Over the last two years, we got a lot of grat feedback from our customers telling us what they liked and where they wanted improvements. That feedback had a common theme: people loved how lightweight/comfortable the watches were and they got tons of compliments on them because the were unique, but the wanted a nicer, water-resistant option.
Using nicer materials and components and making a watch water-resistant typically adds a lot of weight and bulk to a watch. We built a reputation of offering lightweight and comfortable watches so offering a heavy, bulky watch simply wouldn't work. So, we started researching and testing ways to keep the watches lightweight and comfortable even while incorporating heavier and more durable materials.
It was a long process of trial and error but we couldn't be happier with the outcome. We LOVE these watches and we know you will too. We can't wait to get them on your wrists!

For those of you who have purchased through Indiegogo between September 19th and now, we have an important message regarding your order.
We recently became aware of an issue with our survey system which wasn't allowing recent contributors to select add on's to include with their order. This has now been fixed. If you would like to add up to two $40 watches, you can now go back into your survey where you selected your watches and include add on's (simply click on the link in the original email you received and click on the "add on's" step- save changes). We will be shipping all recent orders on Thursday, October 20th. If you would like to purchase add on's, please update your survey no later than 5:00 pm MST on Tuesday.
