Ladies and Gentleman, Boys and Girls, we did it!

All because of your amazing support, the Luno2 campaign is officially funded, over, and wildly successful! Luno Wear was born on crowd funding. Without supporters like you, we wouldn't be around. The value of your support does not go unnoticed. So, Thank you!

So now what?

Everything you'll need to know for the next few days, weeks, and months is listed below.

On Tuesday, September 5th, we will be sending you an email to complete a simple survey to choose your watches and confirm shipping details. Please keep an eye out for this email and finish your survey as soon as possible. Our order could be delayed if not enough people fill out the survey in time.

We will be placing the order around September 17th. From there, our production time is +/- 50 business days and importing will take a week or two (largely depending on customs). This puts delivery time in early to mid December (depending on domestic vs international). We realize this is cutting it close for holiday delivery but we will do everything we can possibly to make sure they are delivered in time.

Hopefully, that gives you a brief overview of what to expect for the coming months. We know you are going to love your watches! If you think they look great in the video and photos, just wait until you get them in your hands! You won't be disappointed and the pre-order wait will be well worth it.

Three Weeks Left On Kickstarter!

Ladies and Gentleman, we're on the home stretch!

We only have three weeks left on our campaign on Kickstarter. Several of you have asked about stretch goals. We have some really exciting ideas for those including extra leather bands, more size options, and different model options, but with the top of the line components we're using our minimum order quantities are really high. Simply put, we need to place a larger order to offer stretch goals. Sharing our campaign on your end would really help with that!

Growing up in a family of watchmakers, I've owned every type of watch imaginable. It wasn't until we were designing our first line of wood and leather watches that I realized how much I prefer a lightweight and comfortable time piece. Each of the watches from our first line weighed less than one ounce and people loved that about them.

When we started designing the Luno 2 line, we knew we wanted to use stainless steel, sapphire crystal, and a high water resistance rating. Each of these elements tends to add a lot of weight to a timepiece. Having built a reputation of offering lightweight and comfortable watches, we knew we were going to have to find a way around that.

A minimalist stainless steel case was an obvious first step and a huge step in the right direction, but that alone wasn't enough. We went back to the drawing board and started to design a watch case that would conform to the natural concave of a wrist. We measured wrist angles when flexed and the curvature when not flexed. We designed our watch cases around a wrist.

Okay, so we realize we're not changing the world by designing an ergonomic watch, but if your watch can look great AND sit comfortably on your wrist, then why not? Right?
